L’exposition TransCorporation explore l’identité comme un état instable, oscillant entre permanence et mutation. Le visiteur traverse un rideau de peau pour entrer dans la galerie, où celle-ci devient SkinFlags, pastichant les drapeaux nationaux.

Pour Olivier Goulet, le corps n’est pas un temple sacré mais un territoire constamment exploré, hybridé, prolongé, fusionné — distribué en réseau.

L’œuvre dialogue ici avec celle de Stelarc, dont le Trophée de Chasse Humain est présenté dans l’exposition, prolongeant une réflexion sur « l’obsolescence » et l’extension du corps.

Deux performances activent également l’espace : les « Baisers Protégés » invitent le spectateur à enfiler une « capote faciale » pour aller à la rencontre de l’autre. Par ailleurs, une femme vêtue d’une burqa en peau synthétique (SkinBag) tente d’engager une interaction silencieuse avec le public.

The exhibition TransCorporation explores identity as an unstable state, oscillating between permanence and mutation. Visitors pass through a curtain of skin to enter the gallery, where it reappears as SkinFlags, pastiching national flags.

For Olivier Goulet, the body is not a sacred temple but a territory constantly explored, hybridized, extended, fused — distributed across networks.

The work enters into dialogue with that of Stelarc, whose Human Hunting Trophy is presented in the exhibition, extending a reflection on the “obsolescence” and extension of the body.

Two performances also activate the space : “Protected Kisses” invite viewers to wear a “facial condom” in order to encounter one another. In addition, a woman dressed in a synthetic-skin burqa (SkinBag) attempts to engage in a silent interaction with the audience.
